Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Singapore seeks a seasoned professional to provide daily operational support in the Corporate Action environment, participate in new product implementations, and drive process automation initiatives. You will report to the Team Lead for Custody and Investment Operations Centre and work on improving efficiency through data analysis and system enhancements.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or Diploma with 6 years in a banking operations environment, preferably in securities operations.
Experience in driving initiatives and change implementations.
Good communication skills.
Good knowledge of MAS and SGX processing.
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

Understand business operations and identify challenges through data analysis.
Improve corporate action processes through system enhancements and automation.
Streamline corporate action workflows to boost productivity and efficiency.
Analyze corporate action data, including event terms and payment processes.
Ensure compliance with KPIs, service levels, controls, and regulations.
Understand product parameters, policies, and regulatory requirements for market operations.
Identify and mitigate operational risks in corporate actions processing.
Prepare management reporting and assist the department head as required.
