Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited in Singapore is seeking a Private Bank Middle Office – Client Fulfillment specialist to support retention, account openings, securities transfers and fee processing. You will coordinate with front, middle and back office to ensure timely processing and accurate reporting.

The role requires a degree/diploma in Business/Banking, at least 4 years in a financial institution, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Banking & Finance or progress towards degree.
• Minimum 4 years in financial institution, preferably middle office.
• Experience in back-office operations: processing, reconciliation, securities transfer.
• Detail-oriented, able to handle repetitive tasks.
• Able to work independently under pressure.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; able to work with all levels.
• Familiar with MS Word and Excel; Excel macros or Access a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle CASA retention renewal, adhoc retention and fresh funds requests
• Perform internal account openings (e.g. Unit Trust, Custody Service account)/maintenance/closure
• Handle internal securities transfer
• Handle fees processing (i.e. account services fees and custody fees etc)
• Perform reconciliation of transactions and handling of daily reports
• Preparation of clients letters
• Handling Adhoc Client’s Report/Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and queries from front office
• Review and seek process improvements across front, middle office and back office teams
• Liaison with back office to ensure timely processing of transactions
• Handling queries from front to back office
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor
