Job summary

The Production House SG Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled Printer Operator to join our Production Team. You will operate and maintain wide-format solvent inkjet printers, manage daily print production, and ensure high-quality finished materials.

You will load media, adjust settings, and perform post-print finishing while maintaining strict production timelines and equipment upkeep. This role requires hands-on experience and attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor digital and large-format printing machines.
• Handle printing of banners, posters, stickers, vinyl decals, signage and exhibition graphics.
• Load and prepare printing media, ink and materials according to job specifications.
• Adjust printer settings, print resolution, colour profiles and media configurations.
• Operate RIP software to process print files and manage printing queues.
• Check artwork and print-ready files before production and verify dimensions, resolution, colour settings, bleed and cutting specs.
• Inspect printed materials for colour accuracy, alignment and quality.
• Perform post-print finishing tasks including trimming, laminating and mounting.
• Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of printing equipment.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of ink, media and production materials.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled, responsible and hands-on Printer Operator to join our Production Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining wide-format (or large-format) solvent inkjet printers, managing daily print production, ensuring consistent print quality, and carrying out finishing work to deliver high-quality printed materials. The role requires good technical knowledge of printing equipment, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple production jobs efficiently within tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor digital and large-format printing machines.
• Handle printing of banners, posters, stickers, vinyl decals, signage, backdrops, exhibition graphics and other promotional materials.
• Load and prepare printing media, ink and materials according to job specifications.
• Adjust printer settings, print resolution, colour profiles and media configurations.
• Operate RIP software to process print files and manage printing queues.
• Check artwork and print-ready files before production and verify printing dimensions, resolution, colour settings, bleed and cutting specifications.
• Inspect printed materials for colour accuracy, alignment, resolution and overall quality.
• Perform post-print finishing tasks, including trimming, cutting, laminating, mounting, vinyl and sticker weeding, and packing.
• Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of printing equipment.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of ink, printing media, vinyl, laminating films and other production materials.

About you

• Previous experience as a Digital Printer Operator, Large-Format Printer Operator or Printing Production Operator is preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating digital or large-format printing machines.
• Knowledge of different printing media, including vinyl, stickers, canvas, banner materials, paper and other substrates.
• Familiarity with RIP software, colour management and print-production settings.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or PDF print files will be an advantage.
• Experience in laminating, cutting, mounting and other print-finishing processes.
• Able to perform basic printer troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to print quality.
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Physically capable of handling printing materials, equipment and production tasks safely.
