Job summary

The Production House SG Pte Ltd seeks a DTP Designer to transform concepts into print-ready designs for banners, posters, signage, and promotional materials. You will handle artwork preparation, layout adjustments, pre-press checks and production file management in a fast-paced events and printing environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in DTP, graphic design and print production, with strong typography, layout and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in DTP, Graphic Design, Artwork Production, Pre-press or Commercial Printing.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; InDesign knowledge a plus.
• Strong understanding of print-production specifications (resolution, bleed, crop marks, colour profiles).

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and prepare artwork for banners, posters, signage, brochures, flyers and exhibition graphics.
• Develop and adapt layouts according to client specifications and production requirements.
• Resize, modify and prepare artwork for various formats and dimensions.
• Make amendments and enhancements while keeping design consistency.
• Prepare print-ready artwork for digital, offset and large-format printing as needed.
• Check artwork dimensions, image resolution, fonts, bleed, crop marks and cutting lines.
• Ensure correct CMYK, RGB and Pantone colour settings for printing needs.
• Perform pre-press checks to rectify artwork errors before production.
• Review artwork for layout accuracy, alignment, colour consistency and presentation.

About the role

As a DTP Designer (Desktop Publishing Designer), you will play an essential role in transforming creative concepts and client-provided artwork into accurate, high-quality, print-ready designs. You will be responsible for artwork preparation, layout adjustments, pre-press checking and production file management, ensuring that every design meets the required specifications before proceeding to print. Key responsibilities

• Create, edit and prepare artwork for banners, posters, backdrops, signage, stickers, decals, brochures, flyers, exhibition graphics and other promotional materials.
• Develop and adapt layouts according to client specifications and production requirements.
• Resize, modify and adjust existing artwork into various formats and dimensions.
• Make artwork amendments, corrections and enhancements while maintaining design consistency.
• Prepare accurate and professional print-ready artwork for digital, offset and large-format printing, as applicable.
• Check artwork dimensions, image resolution, fonts, bleed, crop marks and cutting lines.
• Ensure correct CMYK, RGB and Pantone colour settings according to printing requirements.
• Perform thorough pre-press checks to identify and rectify artwork errors before production.
• Review artwork carefully for layout accuracy, alignment, colour consistency and overall presentation.
• Manage multiple artwork assignments and prioritise tasks according to project schedules.

About you

• Relevant experience in DTP, Graphic Design, Artwork Production, Pre-Press or Commercial Printing.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of Adobe InDesign is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of print-production specifications, including resolution, bleed, crop marks, colour profiles and file formats.
• Experience preparing artwork for digital and large-format printing.
• Good typography, layout and visual presentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organised, proactive and a strong team player.
