Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a senior expert to define and lead the strategic development of thin film processes for advanced NAND devices.

You will guide cross-functional teams, drive manufacturability, and manage technology transfer from R&D to high-volume manufacturing. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in ALD/CVD, advanced characterization, and data analytics, with a track record of leadership and collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• PhD ≥5 years or Master’s ≥7 years or Bachelor’s ≥10 years in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Thin Films R&D/PD for NAND including CVD and Diffusion thin films.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement technical strategy for structural and electrical film process development aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Lead multi-functional teams to develop, integrate, and scale thin film processes for advanced NAND structures/devices.
• Oversee end-to-end development of process modules with focus on manufacturability and integration readiness.
• Drive technology transfer and ramp-up activities to enable transition from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across the organization.
