Job summary

UPPER SPRING CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Principal System Analyst to support our Healthcare client in IT Operations Management. The role focuses on Clinical Informatics Systems and Hospital IT Operations, collaborating with hospital operations to align IT with operational needs.

You will identify roadmaps with business stakeholders, manage IT projects with vendors, and ensure optimal resource allocation while meeting performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 5–7 years of experience leading medium- to large-scale IT application projects.
• 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• ITIL & PMP certifications will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify roadmap of technology solutions and enhancements.
• Work closely with the Reporting Officer in the approval, acquisition, and implementation of IT projects.
• Resolve project issues, working with vendors and key stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
• Oversee planning, directing, supervising, monitoring, and coordinating vendor and department operations, including assigning work activities and projects, evaluating processes, and preparing reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize, design, develop, and implement IT application features and enhancements, ensuring system capabilities and process requirements are aligned.
• Ensure IT systems are performing optimally, meeting SLAs and user requirements.
• Ensure optimum resource allocation and financial effectiveness for IT activities.

Principal System Analyst (Hospital IT Operations Management)

Clinical Systems – Hospital IT Operations Management

We are looking for suitable candidates to support our Healthcare client in IT Operations role for their Clinical Informatics System and Hospital IT Operations Management services.

The suitable candidate will consult and collaborate with the hospital operations management to ensure that IT Operations are aligned and meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify roadmap of technology solutions and enhancements
• Work closely with the Reporting Officer in the approval, acquisition, and implementation of IT projects
• Resolve project issues, working with vendors and key stakeholders as required, to ensure the successful implementation of IT projects
• Oversee the planning, directing, supervising, monitoring, and coordinating of vendor and department operations, including assigning work activities and projects, evaluating work processes and procedures, and preparing correspondence, e.g. general and special reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise, design, develop, and implement IT application features and enhancements, ensuring that system capabilities and process requirements are aligned
• Ensure that the in-scope IT systems are performing optimally, meeting SLAs and requirements of user stakeholders.
• Ensure optimum resource allocation and utilisation, as well as financial effectiveness for IT activities.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or Engineering from a recognized/accredited institution
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in leading medium- to large-scale IT application projects
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Possessing ITIL & PMP certifications will be a plus
• Experience in the healthcare environment and hospital operations
