Randstad Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer at Senior Staff/Principal level to lead core enterprise data-system architecture and roadmaps. You will redesign platforms, guide AI-driven development, and oversee global engineering teams to ensure quality and scale.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software development and architecture, 3+ years as an architect, and hands-on cloud/AWS/GCP/Azure experience, with advanced degrees preferred. Expect a leadership role shaping regional excellence.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on software development and architecture for large-scale systems.
At least 3 years of direct experience as a software architect.
Experience delivering applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with AI tools and AI-native engineering environments.
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD with relevant industry experience.
Familiarity with regulated environments or quality management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Redesign and transition existing platforms into next-generation, integrated software solutions.
Drive the internal adoption of AI-assisted software development methodologies.
Provide architectural oversight to global engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Mentor technical staff and elevate engineering standards to help build a regional center of excellence.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to guide strategic product planning.
