Job summary

YCH Group Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help build high-quality, scalable software and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will lead development efforts, design specifications, and mentor developers to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities include writing clean code, conducting unit tests, debugging, and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10 to 13 years of hands-on software development experience, enterprise environment preferred.
• Strong Java and OOP skills; experience with Spring, Hibernate, and MVC web frameworks.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, RESTful services, and Drools is a plus.
• Front-end skills with VueJS, ReactJS, jQuery, Bootstrap; HTML5 knowledge.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL; open-source tech familiarity.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams; excellent problem-solving and debugging.
• Strong verbal and written communication; capable of multi-project delivery.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, ora related field.
• 10 to 13 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and web frameworks using MVC architecture.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, RESTful services, and business rules engines like Drools is a plus.
• Skilled in front-end technologies including VueJS, ReactJS, jQuery, and Bootstrap
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5.
• Experience with relational databases, especially EDB Postgres, is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
