Job summary

Cultivar Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Principal Physiotherapist to lead and oversee all physiotherapy services across the organisation, driving clinical excellence, service development, and team performance.

The successful candidate will mentor staff, implement specialised rehabilitation pathways, ensure high‑quality patient care, and contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy recognised by AHPC.
  • Fully registered with AHPC and holding a valid practising certificate.
  • BCLS + AED certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant physiotherapy experience.
  • At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong expertise in rehabilitation services (neurological, orthopaedics, geriatrics).
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, staff mentorship, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage physiotherapy services across the organisation.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance guidance to Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants.
  • Develop and implement specialised treatment pathways and integrated rehabilitation programs.
  • Deliver expert assessment and treatment for complex patient cases.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for holistic patient care.
  • Monitor service quality through audits, outcome reviews, and governance activities.
  • Conduct staff training and professional development sessions.
  • Support client engagement initiatives and enhance patient satisfaction outcomes.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, policy development, and service expansion.
  • Represent the department in management and strategic meetings.
  • Support marketing, community outreach, and rehabilitation education initiatives.
  • Drive business growth and explore partnership, grant, and funding opportunities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Fully registered with AHPC and holding a valid practising certificate.
  • BCLS + AED certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant physiotherapy experience in a hospital, nursing home, or rehabilitation setting.
  • At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong expertise in rehabilitation services such as neurological rehabilitation, orthopaedics, or geriatrics.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, staff mentorship, and client relationship management.
  • Experience in private practice would be advantageous.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or training in healthcare leadership would be beneficial.
  • Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
