Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced pharmacist leader in Singapore, based at our West location. The role focuses on overseeing medication workflows, safety initiatives, and the use of inpatient systems to ensure safe patient care.

You will plan manpower, mentor staff, and collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to continually improve medication administration and patient experience. A strong clinical pharmacy background and valid practicing certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy; postgraduate qualifications in clinical pharmacy are preferred.
• Licensed by the Singapore Pharmacy Council with a valid practicing certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication order processing, verification, preparation and supply, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
• Review workflows to improve efficiency and minimise delays.
• Lead medication safety initiatives and drive corrective actions for incidents.
• Oversee use of inpatient pharmacy systems including ADCs to support safe management.
• Plan manpower, mentor staff and establish training programmes for the team.
• Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams to improve medication administration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee medication order processing, verification, preparation and supply, while ensuring safe and timely medication delivery to our patients.


• Review workflows to improve efficiency, prevent errors and minimise delays


• Lead medication safety initiatives, investigate medication-related incidents and drive corrective and preventive measures.


• Oversee the implementation and effective use of inpatient pharmacy systems, including automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs), to support safe and efficient medication management.


• Plan manpower, mentor staff and establish training programmes that enable our pharmacists and pharmacy team to perform at their best.


• Work closely with nursing and other healthcare teams to improve medication administration processes and the overall patient experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, with postgraduate qualifications such as a Master of Clinical Pharmacy, PharmD, or MSc in Clinical Pharmacy.


• Recognized by the local regulatory authority (Singapore Pharmacy Council with a valid practicing certificate).
