Job summary

Wood is seeking a Principal Marine Engineer to lead jetty design and coastal infrastructure projects in Singapore, with strong regulatory knowledge and LNG terminal project exposure preferred. The role requires steering multidisciplinary teams through feasibility, detailed design and implementation phases, ensuring adherence to project procedures and standards.

The candidate should have 15–20 years' coastal/marine experience, proficiency in structural design, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in coastal and marine structures.
• Experience in design and delivery of coastal and harbour infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Familiarity with local authorities and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, technical direction and coordination of marine engineering and design work.
• Lead Marine Engineering Specialist group to deliver high-quality work on time and within budgets.
• Design concept, FE and detailed design of port infrastructure and coastal projects.
• Prepare design drawings, calculations and liaise with other disciplines.
• Support client workshops, safety reviews and project progress reporting.
• Coordinate with Permitting Coordinator and Qualified Persons for approvals.
