Job summary

INTELLIPRO SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore HQ seeks a Principal / Senior Hardware (Electrical) Engineer to lead design and development of advanced hardware for optical networking products, working with multidisciplinary teams from concept through product commercialization.

This role emphasizes high-speed digital hardware design, SI/PI analysis, PCB development, validation, and manufacturing support for data centre networking solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in hardware design and development for high-speed communication products.
• Strong understanding of high-speed digital hardware design, PCB development and system integration.
• Experience with SI/PI analysis for high-speed systems and lab hardware testing.
• Familiar with HFSS, ADS, SIWAVE, LTspice and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize hardware systems for high-performance communication products including optical platforms.
• Define hardware architecture, specifications and electrical interfaces for system objectives.
• Develop circuit designs and review hardware implementations for performance and cost targets.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, optical, mechanical and system teams throughout development.
• Perform hardware verification, characterization, debugging and root-cause analysis during development and NPI.
