Job summary

HTX in Singapore seeks a Senior Solution Architect to design end-to-end, enterprise-scale systems across multiple platforms. You will lead architectural governance, align solutions with business goals, and mentor delivery teams to ensure maintainability and security.

You will work with business stakeholders, product managers, and senior leadership to translate vision into technical roadmaps, evaluate new technologies, and oversee risk management throughout solution delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in software engineering and over 8 years as a Solution Architect, Software Architect, QA Lead, Data Management Lead or a similar role.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering large-scale projects primarily in-house, including multi-site deployment.
• Demonstrated deep expertise in a specialised area (e.g. front end, back end, data management, QA & testing), solution and software architecture or DevOps.
• Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams to drive software delivery.
• Experience coaching technical excellence, development standards and technical problem-solving.
• Strong technical leadership with a self-driven approach to achieving technical excellence.
• Possess strong problem-solving and documentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Highly analytical, self-motivated team player.

What you will be working on

Solution Design & Architecture

• Architect end‑to‑end solutions spanning multiple systems, applications, and platforms to meet complex business requirements.
• Create comprehensive solution blueprints, including system integration patterns, data flows, and technology stack recommendations.
• Design solutions that balance functional requirements, non‑functional requirements (performance, security, scalability), and technical constraints.
• Develop architectural decision records and maintain solution documentation for stakeholder communication.

Strategic Technology Leadership

• Define technology roadmaps and architectural principles that support long‑term organisational objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their fit within the existing technology landscape.
• Establish architectural governance frameworks and standards to ensure consistency across solution delivery.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on technology selection for optimal solution outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Partner with business stakeholders, product managers and senior leadership to translate business vision into technical solutions.
• Facilitate architectural discussions with development teams, infrastructure teams and external vendors.
• Present solution proposals and architectural decisions to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure solution alignment with broader organisational architecture.

Technical Excellence & Delivery

• Oversee technical implementation to ensure solutions meet architectural intent and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership during solution delivery, addressing complex integration challenges and architectural risks.
• Mentor development teams on architectural patterns, design principles and best practices.
• Ensure solutions are designed for maintainability, extensibility and operational excellence.

What we are looking for

All new hires are appointed on a two‑year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
