Job summary

The Solar and Grid Solutions Department champions solar deployment and drives the adoption of grid solutions through technology development, policy reviews, and system integration. Our work aims to maximise Singapore's solar potential and build a flexible, resilient grid that supports Singapore's energy transition.

About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Engineer or Senior Principal Engineer to join the Grid Solutions Branch. In this role, you will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of smart grid and energy storage systems (ESS) operations-technology roadmaps, R&D initiatives, and technical testbeds and pilots. This is a high-impact role at the forefront of Singapore's energy transition. You will need a deep understanding of power system and electricity grid requirements, energy market dynamics, and the concept of operations underpinning grid and ESS solutions.
