Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking a Principal Engineer in Process Engineering (Etch) to support production ramp through process qualification, productivity improvements, and new tool releases. You will establish SOPs, CAS, and FMEA, and drive process optimization using SPC and DOE methodologies.

The role requires a degree in engineering with at least 4 years in process engineering within the semiconductor industry, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master in Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Chemical / Microelectronics, Sciences (Physics / Chemistry) and Material Science.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably in a semiconductor industry.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
• Strong SPC knowledge (Statistical Process Control).

Responsibilities

• Support production ramp schedule by process qualification, productivity improvement and new tool release.
• Establish SOP, CAS and FMEA for related process.
• Optimize and maintain process using SPC and DOE knowledge.
• Work with other regions for BKM alignment and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain process stability and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Lead small team to deliver department goals and conduct internal training for AE/Senior AE.
