Job summary

INTELLECT MINDS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Principal Engineer to oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle technologies including Oracle Linux, OEM Cloud Control, Oracle DB and Engineered Systems Exadata.

The role covers Exadata patching, planning and management, and providing DBA/system support across four Exadata racks. On-site schedule is 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on reliable operation and customer automation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle technologies.
• Experience with Exadata and related storage components.
• Ability to plan patches and manage Exadata lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for four Exadata systems.
• Install and apply critical Exadata patches for OS, Grid, ASM, InfiniBand, DB, and storage cells.
• Patch Exadata environments.
• Plan and manage Exadata deployments.
• Perform DBA/system activities related to Exadata.
• Assist customers with automation and monitoring routines for Exadata.
• Support operational/technical aspects of Exadata.

Job description

We are looking for a Principal Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Oracle's technologies and products. Must be proficient and have hands‑on working experience on the following areas.

• Oracle Linux
• OEM Cloud Control
• Oracle DB
• Oracle Engineered Systems – Exadata
• Backup and Restoration

Scope: Full time Engineer providing Oracle Exadata base rack L2/L3 support on four(4) Oracle Exadata Systems as follow.

1. The Oracle resource will work 9am to 6pm on business days(Mon-Fri)
2. Applying of Oracle critical/ Exadata/ Rollup Patch Sets for operating System/ Grid/ Automatic Storage Management (ASM)/ InfiniBand/ Database / Storage cell.
3. Patching of Exadata
4. Planning and managing Exadata
5. Perform all DBA/system activities (related to Exadata) as required and requested.
6. Assist customer with automation & monitoring routines for Exadata.
7. Perform duties on supporting operational / technical aspects of the Exadata.
