Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is recruiting a Principal Engineer to lead cell film process development and set technical direction for next‑gen NAND device scaling. You will drive multi‑functional teams, ensure manufacturability, and enable a smooth transfer from R&D to high‑volume manufacturing.

You will mentor senior engineers, shape roadmaps, tackle RCA and reliability issues, and push for cost reductions and yield improvements.

Qualifications

PhD/MS/BSc in a relevant technical field with extensive R&D for thin film processes.
Experience in microelectronics device R&D and technology development leadership.
Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across process, integration, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Define and implement technical strategy for cell film process development aligned to business goals.
Lead end-to-end development, transfer, and ramp into high-volume manufacturing.
Resolve complex technical challenges and drive yield, cost, and reliability improvements.
Mentor engineers, represent the function in technical forums and collaborations.
Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and decisiveness.
