GlaxoSmithKline plc in Singapore is seeking an experienced electrical engineer who will act as the site SME for electrical systems, HV/LV distribution, automation, and reliability. You will coach technicians, drive safety, and lead projects to meet cGMP and GEP standards while minimizing downtime.

The role requires PE (preferred), a degree in Electrical Engineering, and a track record of CAPEX project delivery in regulated manufacturing.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 15 years in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with CAPEX projects, validation, audit management in regulated industries.

Responsabilidades

• Champion EH&S compliance across electrical operations, conduct risk assessments and promote safety culture.
• Lead commissioning, maintenance and optimization of electrical systems from Low Voltage to 22KV, including emergency generators and power quality equipment.
• Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using problem-solving methodologies.
• Oversee electrical capacity planning, system performance analysis and expansion projects to support site growth and production demands.
• Review and validate scope, schedule and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades with robust justification.
• Provide engineering oversight during design, construction and commissioning phases ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments and FMEA to eliminate single points of failure and enhance resilience.
• Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training and hands-on site engagement.
• Lead post-incident reviews and drive corrective and preventive actions for electrical system abnormalities.
• Drive strategic initiatives for capacity expansion, reliability improvement and energy efficiency in critical electrical infrastructure.
• Spearhead deployment of advanced power quality solutions, predictive diagnostics and digital tools to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI- and data-driven solutions for performance and reliability.
• Promote continuous improvement through adoption of digital tools, automation and data-driven decision-making.
