TÜV SÜD PSB PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Principal Software Engineer to spearhead architecture and delivery of digital MRV platforms for NbS.

Translate verification requirements into scalable products, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure traceability, security, and compliance across cloud-based services. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IS or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of software engineering with architecture and delivery of complex platforms.
Strong hands-on in .NET and modern web app/service development.
Experience designing secure, scalable SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, and data-intensive solutions.
Proficient in modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, modular).
Deep cloud-native tech, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and infra automation.
Knowledge of SDLC, automated testing, CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and prod ops.
Ability to translate complex requirements into delivery roadmaps and solutions.
Experience in agile, distributed teams with excellent stakeholder management.
Interest or experience in climate tech, carbon markets, dMRV/MRV, geospatial data, and AI/ML.

Responsibilities

Translate NbS, carbon market, regulatory, and assurance requirements into scalable digital MRV solutions.
Lead architecture and delivery of end-to-end dMRV workflows with transparency and auditability.
Design reusable components and data models for evolving standards and registry integrations.
Define and drive technical architecture, roadmap, and platform strategy for NbS dMRV within TÜV SÜD ecosystems.
Provide hands-on technical leadership across .NET, APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and cloud apps.
Establish engineering standards, architecture governance, and platform sustainability.
Develop and integrate climate data solutions leveraging geospatial, EO, IoT, and external sources.
Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to enhance automation and data quality.
Lead prototyping and innovation, transitioning concepts into production-ready solutions.
Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and support recruitment.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business to deliver prioritized roadmaps and manage risks.
Embed security, privacy, data governance, and responsible AI practices across design and operations.
