Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
• Significant experience designing and deploying production deep learning systems for large-scale applications.
• Proven track record in user modelling, recommendation, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy and roadmap for user understanding and generative personalization across Grab platforms.
• Architect and develop large-scale user understanding systems capturing long-term preferences and real-time intent.
• Develop reusable representations and foundation models for retrieval, ranking, and conversational personalization.
• Advance generative recommendation, foundation models, and unified user-item representations.
• Drive platformization with reusable representations, models, APIs, and serving systems.
• Establish offline/online evaluation methodologies to measure impact across applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to productionize models.
