Job summary

Housing & Development Board's Data Science and AI COE in Singapore is seeking a senior data science leader to drive strategy and oversee high-impact ML projects across the agency.

You will mentor a team of data scientists, engage with IT and business units, and push cutting-edge AI innovations, including end-to-end model development and cloud deployment with AWS, while ensuring explainability and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 10 years hands-on data science with 3 years leading data science project teams.
• Master's degree in Computer Science / Data Science / AI / Operations Research.
• Proficient in MECE problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Strong MLOps experience with end-to-end model development and cloud deployment (AWS).
• Deep learning theory and deployment: transformer models, RL; AI engineering with LangChain/LangGraph; vector databases.
• Data engineering for data science: ELT concepts and DB technologies.
• Excellent communication and visualization abilities.
• Advanced programming in Python, R, SQL, and shell scripting.
