Job summary

Thoughtworks Singapore is seeking a Principal Business Analyst to lead the analysis, design and building of critical, bespoke business applications that use a range of modern technologies.

You will orchestrate collaboration between product owners, business sponsors, SMEs and development teams by removing roadblocks and fostering clear communication. The ideal candidate has 10+ years delivering software with development teams, and a strong grounding in design thinking and systems thinking.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering bespoke software with development teams.
• Experience with design thinking and systems thinking to tailor techniques for outcomes.
• Ability to prioritise strategic goals with client executives.
• Experience evaluating methodologies like agile, SAFe, Six Sigma for an executive audience.
• Experience modelling business processes using various tools and techniques.
• Passion for quality software and turning sketches into code.

As a Principal Business Analyst at Thoughtworks, here's what you'll bring:

• 10+ years of experience of working successfully with development teams to deliver bespoke software
• Present the most valuable of a variety of techniques, based on design thinking and systems thinking, and the ability to custom-design suitable techniques where necessary to achieve the desired outcome in a range of scenarios
• Able to prioritise strategic goals and outcomes with client executives
• Objectively evaluate the pros and cons of methodologies (e.g. agile, SAFe, Six Sigma) for an executive audience
• Experience with modelling business processes utilising a variety of tools and techniques
• A genuine passion for quality software; and the know-how to get from sketch to code
