Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD.

is seeking a full-time early childhood educator to plan age-appropriate learning activities, create a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment, and observe each child’s progress across multiple centres in Singapore. You will manage daily routines, build positive relationships with parents, collaborate with colleagues to implement the curriculum, and support children’s holistic development and well-being through attentive care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold ECDA-recognised qualification for the intended role and age group.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or ECDA-recognised equivalent.
• Must meet ECDA's certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities to support children's holistic development.
• Create a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment.
• Observe and document children's learning progress and developmental milestones.
• Manage daily routines, including meals, hygiene, toileting and rest time.
• Build positive relationships with parents and provide updates on children's progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum implementation and children's well-being.

Requirements & Qualifications

• L1 Position: Relevant early childhood qualification recognised by ECDA for the intended role and age group.

• Must meet ECDA's relevant certification requirements for the position.
• Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.
• Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
