CareerStar International Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mandarin education specialist to deliver age-appropriate lessons and early childhood programmes for children aged 18 months to 6 years in Bedok / Bukit Timah, Singapore.

The role emphasizes Mandarin language development, play-based learning, and collaboration with the English teaching team. Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, documenting progress, communicating with parents, and ensuring a safe learning environment while complying

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Strong spoken and written Mandarin required.
• Minimum 1 year preschool teaching experience.
• Montessori exposure is an advantage.
• ECDA L1 or L2 certification will be considered favourably.

Mansioni

• Deliver age-appropriate Mandarin lessons and early childhood learning programmes for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
• Plan and conduct Mandarin lessons using age-appropriate teaching materials, stories, songs, games and thematic activities.
• Support children's development in listening, speaking and early literacy skills through engaging and play-based learning activities.
• Create a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment for children.
• Observe and document children's learning and development, and maintain appropriate learning records and progress reports.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's learning, development and classroom experiences.
• Collaborate with English teachers and other teaching staff in planning school activities, celebrations and thematic programmes.
• Support children's daily routines, well-being and classroom management.
• Maintain proper classroom records and documentation in accordance with centre procedures.
• Comply with applicable ECDA requirements, centre SOPs, health and safety requirements and other relevant regulations.
• Perform other duties related to teaching and classroom operations as assigned by the centre.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, or another relevant and recognised early childhood qualification.
• Strong spoken and written Mandarin proficiency, as the role involves delivering the Mandarin curriculum and supporting children's Mandarin language development.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant preschool teaching experience.
• Good understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning.
• Patient, responsible and caring, with a genuine interest in supporting young children's learning and development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates with relevant ECDA L1 or L2 certification will be considered favourably, where applicable to the role.
• Montessori teaching experience or relevant training will be an advantage.
