Applicants should hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, ECDA L1/L2

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is required.
• ECDA L1/L2 certification is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the class program per centre policies.
• Prepare progress reports and developmental portfolios for each child.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes self-directed learning.
• Manage classroom and ensure safety and hygiene.
• Build relationships with children and parents.

Job Overview

This position reports to the Principal on teaching and administration matters. It is a dedicated internal and external client service role, encompassing teaching, program development, and parental engagement in collaboration with all team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework, and Centre Philosophy.
• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child.
• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging pleasant learning environment that promotes self-directed learning.
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.

Job Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
• Certified by ECDA at L1/L2 category
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team
