Job summary

Childfirst in Singapore is seeking an L2 Preschool Teacher (English Language) to plan and implement lesson plans aligned with the Centre’s curriculum, observe and document children’s learning, and deliver lessons as scheduled. You will prepare development reports, set up engaging learning corners, maintain a conducive classroom, and update parents on progress.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Pre-School Teaching or DECCE-T, ACEY/L2 certification, strong English communication, minimum 5 O

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Diploma in Pre-School Teaching or DECCE-T
• ACEY/L2 certification
• Good command of spoken and written English for Teaching
• Minimum 5 GCE O level credits including English Language as a First Language
• Minimum 1 year childcare/pre-school teaching experience in Singapore
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc)
• Singapore Citizen (No Quota for Work Passes)

About the role

L2 Preschool Teacher (English Language) responsible for planning and implementing lesson plans in accordance with the Centre's curriculum and framework, observing and documenting children's learning, and delivering planned lessons as scheduled.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and implement lesson plans (in English language) in accordance with Centre's curriculum and framework

• Observe and document children's learning

• Delivering of planned lessons as scheduled

• Preparing of students' development report, e-folio

• Setup and create stimulating and engaging learning corners

• Maintaining the classroom environment including learning corners

• Updating parents of student's development

About you

• Must possess at least a Diploma in Pre-School (Teaching) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T)

• ACEY/L2 certified

• Good command of spoken and written English for Teaching

• Must possess at least 5 GCE 'O' level credits including English Language (B4) as a First Language

• Minimum 1 year childcare/pre-school teaching experience in Singapore

• Microsoft Office Application (eg Word, Powerpoint, etc)

• Singapore Citizen (No Quota for Work Passes)
