Job summary

THE SCHOOLHOUSE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to plan and implement engaging programmes for young learners in Singapore. You will oversee daily classroom activities and ensure a safe, stimulating environment aligned with our policies.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education with ECDA L2 certification, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support each child's development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is required.
• ECDA L2 certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centre’s policies and framework.
• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child.
• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes self-directed learning.
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children.
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties.
• Build and maintain close partnership with parents.
