Job summary

BRIGHT WORLD LEARNERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an early childhood educator to create a stimulating classroom that fosters self-directed learning and ensures safety and hygiene in daily operations.

You will plan and implement the programme, complete progress reports, collaborate with staff, and build strong partnerships with parents.

This role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education and ECDA L1 or L2 certification, plus excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in early childhood care and education.
• ECDA L1 or L2 certification mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• High tolerance towards children is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes self-directed learning.
• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centre’s policies and framework.
• Complete progress reports and developmental portfolios for each child.
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and safety/hygiene of the children.
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class.
• Build and maintain close partnership with parents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging pleasant learning environment that promotes self-directed learning


• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centre’s policies and framework


• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child


• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children


• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties


• Build and maintain close partnership with parents

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education


• Certified by ECDA at L1 or L2 category


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• High tolerance level towards children is an advantage


• Able to work well independently as well as within a team
