Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECDA-recognised teaching suitable for preschool English instruction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging young learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging English lessons for preschool children according to curriculum and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging English lessons for preschool children in accordance with the centre’s curriculum and learning objectives.


• Create a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s holistic development.


• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities appropriate to children’s age and developmental needs.


• Observe and document children’s learning progress and development.


• Provide appropriate support and guidance to children with different learning needs.


• Use age-appropriate teaching strategies to develop children’s language, literacy, communication, and social skills.


• Maintain positive and respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.


• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s learning and development.


• Participate in school events, parent engagement activities, and centre programmes.


• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Requirements

• MinimumDiploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (English)or an equivalent ECDA‑recognised qualification.


• ValidL2 English teaching certification/registration with ECDA.


• Passionate about working with preschool children.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Able to work effectively as part of a team.


• Responsible, patient, caring, and committed to providing quality early childhood education.


• Relevant preschool teaching experience will be an advantage.
