Job summary

BUSY BEES @ WORK PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to plan and implement learning programmes in a nurturing environment. You will manage classroom activities and document child development while collaborating with fellow staff.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education and ECDA L1/L2 certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Training and a supportive centre culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is required.
• ECDA L1 or L2 certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• High tolerance toward children is advantageous.
• Able to work well independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centre's policies and framework.
• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child.
• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes self-directed learning.
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children.
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties.
• Build and maintain close partnership with parents.
