Job summary

Methodist Preschool Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a kitchen assistant to prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals for pupils and staff in a preschool setting.

The role requires maintaining high hygiene standards and ensuring proper storage and handling of food materials. Applicants should have relevant work experience, be a responsible and caring team player, and possess Hepatitis B and typhoid immunization with Food Handling certification.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant work experience.
• Must be a responsible and caring team player.
• Vaccinated/immunized against Hepatitis B and typhoid; certified in Food Handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals for pupils and staff.
• Purchase and proper storage of food materials (e.g. meats, fresh fruits and vegetables).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen (including all furniture and windows).
• Clear and wash up used crockery and utensils after meals (including kitchen).
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
