Job summary

Ex Search is seeking a Regional Technical Support and Solutions Implementation specialist to support Southeast Asia markets, including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The role involves pre-sales support, POC testing, and delivery of English-language industry solutions tailored to regional needs.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in overseas pre-sales or support, and strong English communication for proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in cybersecurity industry with at least 3 years in pre-sales or technical support for overseas markets
• Excellent English proficiency and business negotiation skills for international engagements
• Familiarity with Zero Trust, SASE, cloud security and data security in global markets
• Strong ability to produce high-quality technical proposals and whitepapers
• Knowledge of regional compliance standards in Southeast Asia (PDPA, PDP Law)

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support and run workshops, POC testing and product demonstrations
• Lead bidding projects for government agencies and large enterprises in Southeast Asia; draft RFP/RFI responses and deviation statements

Job Responsibilities

1. Regional Technical Support & Solution Implementation: Provide pre-sales technical support to clients in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.), including requirements analysis, technical workshops, POC testing, and product demonstrations, ensuring technical solutions are deeply integrated with local business scenarios.

2. International Bidding & Tender Management: Lead bidding projects for government agencies and large enterprises in Southeast Asia; draft international-standard proposals (RFP/RFI responses) and technical deviation statements; conduct on-site presentations and Q&A sessions in English.

3. Localized Solution Development: Develop and deliver English-language industry solutions, best practice case studies, and application scenario documentation tailored to Southeast Asian market characteristics (e.g., Fintech, cross-border e-commerce, digital government).

4. Channel Enablement & Ecosystem Cooperation: Support technical training for local channel partners (Resellers/MSPs) and assist sales teams in identifying business opportunities; serve as a keynote speaker at regional security summits or marketing events to enhance the brand's technical influence.

5. Competitive Analysis & Product Feedback: Monitor Southeast Asian cybersecurity market trends and analyze the local strategies of international competitors (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point); provide product optimization recommendations to the R&D team that align with overseas compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

1. Education & Major: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Communication Engineering, or related fields; excellent English proficiency (CET-6/TEM-8/IELTS 6.5+) with the ability to independently conduct business negotiations and technical presentations entirely in English.

2. Industry Experience: 5–10 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, including at least 3 years in pre-sales or technical support for overseas markets (specifically Southeast Asia); familiarity with implementation models for Zero Trust, SASE, cloud security, and data security products in international markets.

Technical & Compliance Expertise: Familiarity with mainstream international security architectures and local compliance standards in Southeast Asia (e.g., PDPA in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand; PDP Law in Indonesia).

• In-depth understanding of cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP international regions), big data, and industrial internet security.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Strong English documentation skills; able to independently produce high-quality technical proposals and whitepapers.

Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues and coordinate product and R&D resources under high-pressure conditions to drive successful Proof of Concept (POC) projects.

Preferred Qualifications: Possession of internationally recognized security or project management certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, PMP).

Prior experience with leading Southeast Asian technology companies (e.g., Grab, SeaGroup, GoTo) or international security vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Trend Micro) is highly desirable.
