Job summary

TALENT FIRST PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Presales Engineer / Solutions Architect with strong Kubernetes hands-on experience to design cloud-native solutions and engage with customers across AWS, Azure, GCP and on-premises environments.

The role involves leading technical discovery, demonstrations, PoCs, and translating complex requirements into scalable architectures, closely collaborating with sales and technical teams to drive pre-sales success.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT experience in presales, solutions architecture, cloud or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience is a MUST.
• Experience with EKS, AKS or GKE.
• Knowledge of CSI, CNI, PV/PVC and Service Mesh.
• Experience with OpenShift, Rancher or Nutanix NKP is advantageous.
• Experience with public clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Familiarity with cloud security, IAM, encryption, and storage.
• CKA or other Kubernetes/cloud certs advantageous.

Job Overview:

• We are looking for an experienced Presales Engineer / Solutions Architect with strong hands-on Kubernetes experience to support cloud-native solution design, technical discovery and customer engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discovery sessions and understand customer requirements.
• Design cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP and on-premises environments.
• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical presentations.
• Design backup, disaster recovery and migration solutions for Kubernetes environments.
• Work closely with customers, sales and technical teams throughout the presales cycle.
• Translate technical requirements into suitable solution architectures.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience is a MUST.
• Experience with managed Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS or GKE.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes concepts including CSI, CNI, Persistent Volumes (PV/PVC) and Service Mesh.
• Experience with self-managed Kubernetes platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, SUSE Rancher or Nutanix NKP will be advantageous.
• Around 5–8 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Presales, Solutions Architecture, Cloud or DevOps.
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption and storage.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Helm is preferred.
• Backup, disaster recovery, data protection or enterprise storage experience will be highly advantageous.
• Strong customer-facing, presentation and technical discovery skills.
• CKA or other Kubernetes/cloud certifications will be advantageous.
