Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical design and support to the sales team, including consulting, system specifications, and presentations.
• Coordinate with vendors for system design verification, demos, proofs of concept, and integration possibilities.
• Evaluate products and systems and recommend to sales/projects teams.
• Support Application/Project teams in standardizing design and applications.
• Conduct demos independently for visitors and assist in project implementation.

Job description

The incumbent is responsible for providing expert-level technical design and support to the sales team in consulting, technical guidance, generating system specifications, conducting system presentations, and supporting in designing and engineering considerations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Major responsibilities is in the support of the sales team, during quotation and tender preparation, from verification of tender and design specifications, bill of quantity detailing, detailed system designing and solutioning, and other submission requirements.
• Work scope includes liaison and coordination with specialist vendors for system design verification, carrying out demos, and ‘proof of concept’ system testing, as well as system integration and interfacing possibilities.
• Evaluation of products and systems, and introduction/recommendation to the sales and projects team, is part of his responsibility.
• Work with the Application team in terms of standardization of design and applications, for ease of project implementation; support the Application/Project team when required.
• Expected to be conversant with the Application Centre set-up and equipment, and to conduct demos independently to visitors
• Must multitask effectively, to support sales and project sales in areas of engineering design, detailing, and verification.
• Support security and communications-related project implementation, particularly in detailed design.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or IT, and with at least 3 years’ related experience in a similar industry.
• Expected to be conversant in both security and communication systems, as well as network designs, and have a good understanding of IT, cybersecurity, and audio engineering know-how.
• Self-driven and able to work with minimal instructions.
• Organized, systematic, and structured personnel preferred.
• Energetic and high level of work commitment with a positive mindset.
• Demonstrates abilities to work in a fast-paced environment and is able to work in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multitask effectively, supporting various roles and functions.
