Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Singapore seeks a Premier Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition for the Premier and offshore banking platform. You will acquire qualified clients through needs-based conversations and build a robust pipeline.

You will own end-to-end onboarding, collaborate with RM and specialists, ensure compliance with AML/KYC, and help deliver wealth planning solutions for high-net-worth and international clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a retail banking/sales environment or equivalent.
• Proven sales performance with strong prospecting and relationship-building.
• Experience engaging high net worth and/or international clients in Premier/offshore contexts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence peers and clients.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Premier Business Development Manager.

In this role you will:

• Put customers at the heart:Acquire qualified customers into theHSBC Premier/Premier Elite proposition through needs-based conversations and a strong service mindset. Drivewealth and digital readinessthrough proactive, high-quality engagement.
• Get it done:Own end-to-end client acquisition delivery—prospecting, onboarding, and warm handover to RM/specialists—to meet agreed growth and revenue outcomes.
• Take responsibility:Maintain high standards ofoperational integrity, meeting publishedService Level Agreements (SLAs)and Premier service standards.
• Take responsibility:Ensure full compliance withAML, KYC, onboarding guidelines, account opening and regulatory requirements, managing processes through to completion.
• Succeed together:Partner with branch/direct teams and refer toRMs/wealth advisers/specialiststo deliver wealth reviews and broader financial planning solutions.
• Get it done:Self-source new-to-bank opportunities and build a robust pipeline via disciplined prospecting and relationship management for theoffshore banking platform.
• Value difference:Expand external networks in the offshore/Premier segment to unlock diverse client leads and referral channels.

To be successful you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with relevant experience in aretail banking/salesenvironment.
• Proven sales performance with strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building capability (financial services experience advantageous).
• Experience engaging high net worth and/or international clients, ideally within Premier/offshore contexts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and build trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining discipline on process and controls.
• Proficiency inIndian dialectsto engage the key client base;right to work in Singaporerequired.
