Monitor health and performance of plant equipment through condition monitoring technologies, data analytics and reliability engineering techniques
Identify developing failures and recommend preventive or corrective measures
From collected data or past history, optimise maintenance strategies and maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and minimise unplanned downtime\
Work closely with maintenance engineers and technicians to develop equipment recovery plans based on condition monitoring findings
Develop and own condition monitoring programmes for the plants, including developing the trends and analytics needed for visibility of equipment health
Monitor and evaluate industry trends in condition monitoring technologies
Work with relevant stakeholders on the development of AI analytics for spotting early warning signs of failure
React to alerts from AI analytics, verify the alert and elevate as needed and where necessary, work with the digital team on improving the behaviour of the AI analytics programme
Support Root Cause Analysis or failure investigations through condition monitoring and data analytics
Identify recurring failure modes and recommend improvements to eliminate or reduce repeat failures
Support the maintenance planners in the identification and execution of cross-plant synergies
This role will be primarily responsible for the mechanical systems in power generation and utility plants
Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
Minimum 3 years of experience in a process plant environment (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals
Experienced in condition monitoring, rotating and static equipment diagnostics
ISO Vibration Certified Analyst
Thermography
Lube Oil Analysis
Familiarity with SAP Plant Maintenance Module
