Job summary

JEP Precision Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented QA Inspector to perform visual and dimensional checks on mechanical parts in Singapore. You will read engineering drawings, use vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensions and appearance against specifications.

You will record inspection results, report non-conformities, and ensure instruments are calibrated and maintained. The role requires independent work and teamwork in a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or GCE O Level is required.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Good eyesight and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and manual inspection of parts according to drawings and work instructions.
• Check product dimensions and appearance to meet specifications.
• Record inspection results and report non-conforming parts.
• Ensure measuring instruments are in good condition before use.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S practices; observe safety procedures.
