Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Inspector in Singapore to perform dimensional inspection of CNC machined parts per drawings and inspection plans. You will conduct FAI, in-process and final inspections using precision gauges and document results in inspection reports.

The role requires 1–3 years of inspection experience, ability to read mechanical drawings and GD&T, and independent operation of common precision measuring instruments. Shift flexibility and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of inspection experience within CNC machining or precision engineering.
• Hands-on experience inspecting CNC machined parts.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and tolerance requirements.
• Knowledge of GD&T would be advantageous.
• Experience with CMM inspection is advantageous.Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection of CNC machined parts according to engineering drawings and inspection plans.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process inspection and final inspection.
• Use precision measuring instruments including Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, thread gauge, pin gauge, dial indicator and surface roughness tester.
• Inspect critical dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, thread quality, hole position, flatness, parallelism and perpendicularity.
• Read and interpret mechanical/technical drawings, GD&T symbols, material specifications and inspection requirements.
• Accurately record inspection results in inspection reports and check sheets.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts to the Supervisor or Quality Engineer.
• Segregate rejected parts and ensure proper identification of accepted, rejected and pending inspection items.
• Work closely with CNC Operators, Production and Quality teams to clarify and resolve quality issues.
• Support root cause investigations for recurring machining defects or quality issues.
• Ensure measuring instruments are properly handled and sent for calibration when required.
• Handle urgent inspections according to production schedules.
• Maintain proper housekeeping within the inspection area.
• Follow company quality, safety and production control procedures.
