Job summary

Tung Lok Millennium Pte Ltd is seeking a kitchen preparer to handle cutting of meats, seafood and vegetables, maintaining uniform sizing for even cooking and presentation. You will work with chefs to meet service demands, ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation following safety standards, and help maintain a clean, safe prep area.

The role requires strong knife skills, knowledge of food safety, the ability to work under pressure, and a team-focused attitude with reliable communication.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience required.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with cutting techniques.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety and sanitation.
• Able to perform split shift and work on weekends/public holidays.
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand long hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with positive attitude and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut meats, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Maintain consistency in size and shape of ingredients for even cooking and presentation.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated per food safety standards.
• Work closely with chefs to meet preparation demands during service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in preparation area, tools, and equipment.
• Follow kitchen safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting ingredient deliveries as needed.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
