Job summary

Tung Lok Millennium Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent kitchen assistant to support daily food preparation in a fast-paced environment in Singapore. You will wash, trim, slice, dice, and chop ingredients, ensuring safety and accuracy in every task.

The role requires strong knife skills and the ability to maintain consistency during long shifts. We value reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to inventory checks and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen or central kitchen preferred.
• Good knife skills and familiarity with cutting techniques.
• Ability to stand for long periods and maintain pace.
• Team player with strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, trim, slice, dice, and chop ingredients to meet recipe standards.
• Use knives and cutting tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all ingredients.
• Maintain consistency in cut sizes and preparation techniques.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, knives, cutting boards, and equipment before and after use.
• Assist with inventory rotation (FIFO), stock checks, and reporting of low supplies.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
