Job summary

OAKTREE CONSULTING in Singapore seeks a Program/Project Engineer with 3+ years of experience to bridge clients, engineering teams, and manufacturing from design to production. You will manage plans, schedules, budgets and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet milestones and deliverables.

The role requires hands-on CNC/CAD-CAM experience, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication skills to provide status updates and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or precision engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in program/project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of precision manufacturing processes and materials.
• Strong project management skills (MS Project or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and high-precision measurement tools.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.
• Program / Account Management experience in Semiconductor, Aerospace, Medical Devices, or Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Clients, Engineering Teams, and Manufacturing to deliver complex projects from design through production.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams on updates.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for precision programs.
• Collaborate with NPI, manufacturing, and QA teams to hit milestones and objectives.
• Monitor program progress; resolve technical and logistical issues quickly.
• Provide technical input on CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology processes.
• Oversee prototype development and design-for-manufacturability reviews.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for high-precision components.
• Ensure adherence to tight quality and tolerance standards; coordinate testing and inspection.
• Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
