Job summary

Smith is seeking a Component Inspector to ensure quality control of electronic parts before they reach customers. You will inspect parts, verify part numbers and condition, and apply correct moisture-sensitive packaging in a fast-paced office setting in Singapore.

You will support the test lab tasks, communicate with manufacturers, interpret specifications, and generate discrepancy reports. A detail-oriented, proactive mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in QC.
• Electronics industry experience is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and internet research.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts before shipping for correct part, number, quantity, and damage.
• Support tasks in the functional test lab under Operations Manager.
• Apply proper seal and moisture-sensitive packaging.
• Communicate with component manufacturers to verify information.
• Interpret spec sheets, measure dimensions, and inspect with optical scopes.
• Generate discrepancy reports and support functional testing.
• Interface with procurement and account reps to resolve material issues.
• Assist operations in day-to-day activities.
