Job summary

Panasonic Industry is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician in Singapore to support material quality inspections, finished-goods inspection and packaging, failure analysis, and quality performance monitoring. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.

The role requires 1 year of electronics manufacturing experience, familiarity with ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, FTA, 8D methods, and the use of measurement microscopes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar electronics manufacturing role.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, FTA, 8D, technical drawings.
• Experience operating a measurement microscope.
• Willingness to wear cleanroom attire.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming material quality inspections and work with vendors to resolve non-conformities.
• Backup finished-goods outgoing quality inspection and packaging activities.
• Prepare quality documents for shipment when the main inspector is unavailable.
• Support outgoing inspection and packaging as directed by supervisor.
• Conduct field-return inspections and failure analysis as needed.
• Coordinate return of non-conforming materials.
• Perform document control activities including reviews, revisions, and training coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness in the document storage area.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Conduct GP compliance screening for incoming materials and XRF inspections.
• Perform failure analysis on products and quality data.
• Review and report daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance.
