Smith is seeking a QC Specialist to join our team in Singapore. The role involves visually inspecting electronic components, verifying part numbers and quantities, and ensuring proper moisture-sensitive packaging for shipments.

You will interact with manufacturers, interpret specs, measure specs, and generate discrepancy reports to support testing and deliveries. Candidates should have 1+ year QC experience, prefer electronics industry familiarity, and be proficient in MS Office and online

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in QC.
• Electronics industry experience a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and internet researching.

Responsabilités

• Visually inspect parts before shipping to customers, check part, part number, quantity and damage.
• Support tasks in the functional test lab from Operations Manager.
• Apply proper seal and dry packaging according to moisture sensitivity.
• Communicate with component manufacturers to verify information like markings, firmware and serials.
• Interpret spec sheets, measure dimensions and inspect with optical scopes when needed.
• Generate discrepancy reports and support functional testing.
• Interface with procurement specialists and account reps to resolve material issues.
• Support day-to-day operations.
