Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics in Singapore is seeking a Production and Assembly Support specialist to assist sub-assembly, final assembly, equipment integration and testing. You will review drawings, BOMs and work instructions and support the Production Leads in planning and tasking.

The role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting, ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, and willingness to travel overseas for projects lasting 1–2 months.

Qualifications

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Strong hands-on understanding of equipment assembly, integration, setup, and testing.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, cable diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to assembly and test technicians.
• Train and certify technicians on assembly processes, tools, equipment, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Support technician skill-matrix and competency evaluations.
• Share troubleshooting knowledge and lessons learned with production staff.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting records or guides for future reference.
• Review Engineering Changes affecting production and support implementation on the production floor.
• Train production personnel on changes affecting equipment assembly or testing.
• Maintain accurate records of deviations, corrective actions, and production technical issues.
• Ensure production uses the latest approved documentation.
