Job summary

Completion Products Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assembly & Testing Engineer to plan, coordinate and support the safe, efficient assembly and testing of completion equipment and screen products. You will ensure builds are performed to approved drawings, specifications and procedures, and that documentation and release are completed on schedule.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality to solve technical problems, drive process improvements and maintain traceability,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or a related engineering field.
• Strong ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with assembly and testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOMs, specifications and procedures before work begins.
• Prepare and verify assembly and testing plans, maps, traces and test procedures.
• Coordinate and provide technical support for cleaning, inspection, assembly, testing and verification.
• Verify component and serial number traceability before assembly and testing.
• Determine tooling, fixtures and test setup requirements with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and within specification and used correctly.
• Monitor activities, analyze deviations, and provide technical direction.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and NCRs.
• Raise NCRs when non-conformances are identified and control affected products pending disposition.
• Prepare and maintain assembly and test reports and quality records.
• Ensure labour hours are captured and production records completed correctly.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to prioritise jobs and support schedules.
• Develop and improve assembly/testing methods to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
• Provide coaching and training to technicians and ensure compliance with work instructions.
• Participate in new product introductions, inspections and audits as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping and adherence to Safety and Quality guidelines.
