Job summary

ISLANDER PRE-SCHOOL PTE. LTD. seeks a dedicated Mandarin Language Teacher to guide a class of young learners in Sentosa, with shuttle bus provided. The role focuses on inquiry-based play, language immersion and close parent collaboration.

You will plan engaging circle times, document learning in portfolios and newsletters, and foster a warm Mandarin-rich environment while working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education in Teaching (Chinese language) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant preschool/childcare experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandarin language proficiency: speak/read/write.

Job description

The Mandarin Language Teacher will be responsible for taking care of a class of young children and facilitating small group experiences within an inquiry, play-based context in the school.

• Plan engaging circle time experiences and small group experiences within an inquiry, play-based context
• Document children’s learning through contributions towards newsletters, class panels and children’s portfolios
• Create meaningful language opportunities for children where a love for Mandarin can be promoted;
• Build and maintain close partnership with parents

• 建立分组式活动、探索为主导、娱乐为背景的教学模式；

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education in Teaching (Chinese language) or its equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in pre-school or childcare setting is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team
• Required to speak, read and written in Mandarin as the candidates need to teach the students Mandarin Language.
• L2 Certificate
• 幼儿教育大专文凭，持有本科相关学历者优先；
• 至少2年幼儿教学经验；
• 普通话标准，写作规范；
• 工作积极，有责任感;
• L2 Certificate
