Little Big Preschool in Singapore is seeking a warm, dedicated Preschool Chinese Language Teacher to nurture children’s confidence and love for Mandarin through play and daily interactions. You will design age-appropriate Chinese language experiences and collaborate with parents and staff to support each child’s development.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education–Teaching (or equivalent) with preference given to applicants holding ECDA L1/L2 Chinese language teaching

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education–Teaching or equivalent qualification.
• ECDA L1 / L2 certification for Chinese language teaching preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate Chinese language experiences through stories, songs, play and inquiry.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages children to communicate confidently in Mandarin.
• Observe and document children’s learning and development to guide lesson planning and support individual needs.
• Support children’s daily routines, wellbeing, safety and development of independence.
• Build positive relationships with parents and work closely with colleagues to support each child’s development.
• Participate in curriculum planning, school events and professional learning.

Key Responsibilities 工作职责

• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate Chinese language experiences through stories, songs, play and inquiry.

• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages children to communicate confidently in Mandarin.

• Observe and document children’s learning and development to guide lesson planning and support individual needs.
  观察并记录幼儿的学习与发展，根据个别需要调整教学计划与策略。

• Build positive relationships with parents and work closely with colleagues to support each child’s development.

Requirements 任职要求

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education–Teaching, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  持有幼儿保育与教育教学专业文凭，或同等认可学历。

• ECDA L1 / L2 certification for Chinese language teaching preferred.
  优先考虑持有 ECDA L1 / L2 华文教学资格认证的申请者。
