Job summary

You will work closely with customers, sales, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure solution approaches. Responsibilities include designing architectures on AWS, leading technical discussions, and embedding DevSecOps practices with CI/CD and containerization.

Qualifications

• Experience designing application solutions on AWS in a customer-facing or presales environment.
• Strong Java development experience with knowledge of modern frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools.

The Pre-Sales Solution Architect supports the design and positioning of application development solutions on AWS. This role works closely with customers, sales, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and practical solution approaches.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into solution concepts
• Design and present scalable, secure, and reliable application architectures on AWS, including proposals and cost models
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions
• Apply application development expertise (Java) with modern frontend technologies to shape solution design
• Embed DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and secure development principles
• Prepare solution documentation and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams

What we need to see from you: Experience designing application solutions on AWS in a customer-facing or presales environment

Strong knowledge of application development using Java (primary skill) or .NET (secondary skill), with exposure to modern frontend frameworks

Understanding of AWS services (e.g., compute, storage, networking) and ability to design cloud-native solutions

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD and container-based deployments

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders

Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
