Job summary

Rehlko is seeking an IS Engineer to provide pre‑sales technical support for our power solution offerings, ensuring proposals meet local authority requirements and tender specifications.

You will assess project requirements from Sales and distributors for non‑standard systems, lead installation design discussions, and work closely with engineering, supply chain, and the sales team to prepare accurate quotations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Diploma with 4 years of relevant technical solution experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written).
• Ability to manage and prioritize work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform project feasibility studies and propose alternative solutions.
• Work on tender specifications for projects.
• Attend project sites for surveys and assist in integration proposals.
• Lead discussions with inquirers on installation design changes (exhaust, fuel supply).
• Review requests for non-standard gensets to ensure information and viability.
• Respond promptly to technical pre-sales inquiries.
• Generate project cost estimates including non-standard products and M&E.
• Collaborate with engineering to study feasibility and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with Senior IS Engineer to generate quotes for sales.
• Work with Supply Chain and vendors in pre-sales development.
• Help achieve department and organizational sales targets.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to distributors.
• Maintain ISO system pertaining to IS.
